A parents-only record. This app is for Chris and Mircy — it holds what you have noticed, in your words. It is never shown to the child it describes.
Press and hold the button below, then answer — that keeps small hands and casual taps out.
Forgot the PIN? The question above always works — a forgotten PIN can never lock the family out of its own record.
Growth Map
The map — seven domains
Guides for what to watch for and enjoy noticing — never verdicts. Items are grouped by what you have seen, not scored.
What the words mean:Seen — we have watched her do it, unbidden, in real life. Emerging — we have seen pieces of it, or it happened with help, or once. Not yet seen — we haven’t seen it yet. The words describe what you have watched, never what she can do.
Still watching
Items marked Emerging or Not yet seen a while ago — the Preceptor reads this list when revising the teaching plan.
Notice
“Not yet” means not yet seen — it describes what you have watched, never what she can do.

Approach log
Honesty box. This log shows observation sequences — what was tried, what the parents noticed, what showed up later. It cannot prove a method works, for her or for any child: there is no control, no blind, no measure — only a family's attentive record. No efficacy claim may be drawn from it in any copy, export, application, or conversation the house produces. What it can honestly do is help her parents remember what she loved, what she returned to, and what appeared next — which is what good teachers have always kept in their heads, written down.

Family record
Who is logging?
Two phones, one record — encrypted sync
Sync is optional and the app works fully without it, forever. When set up, your record travels as ciphertext only: the key is generated on this phone, held only on your phones and in your password manager, and never reaches the host. The host stores bytes it cannot read.
The pairing bundle is shown once, at setup, on the first phone — save it in your password manager at that moment. Afterwards this app shows only the key’s fingerprint, so the two phones can confirm they hold the same key without the key ever being displayed again.
Share with the school (scoped, expiring, revocable)
A share is a selection, encrypted, with its key in the link itself — the host cannot read it. One link per recipient. Default life 14 days, maximum 30. The link is a key: anyone holding it can view until it expires or you revoke it. Send it only to the named school contact, through a channel you already trust with that person. Never post it; never forward it through group threads. One link per recipient — a second recipient gets a second link.
Family controls — rotation & wipe
If a phone or the pairing bundle is ever in doubt: rotate everything (new key, new sync space, new token — the old ciphertext space is wiped and both phones re-pair from the new bundle), or wipe the sync store entirely (the record on your phones and your sealed backups are untouched).
Exports
Exports are files you hand over deliberately, per occasion. Nothing is transmitted by the app to make them.
Backup — the sealed envelope
One file holds the whole record (entries + photos), sealed with a checksum and verified on restore. This file is the family record — keep it where the family keeps its papers. Sync keys and tokens are never inside it.
Parent gate PIN
About
Growth Map · Experimental · Parents only. No accounts, no analytics, no telemetry, no third-party code. The offline record is the record; sync and shares carry ciphertext only. The parent gate is an access gate, not device encryption — on a lost phone, protection rests on the phone’s own lock and storage encryption. Sync and sharing run under a filed exception that expires at the school application’s resolution or 2027-04-25, whichever comes first, when the custody question is re-ruled.

UPDATES
No silent updates, ever. Checking asks the hosted copy for its version and tells you what it found; applying an update is your tap, and the sealed prior version stays restorable from your backups.
